MAJOR CHANGES
- Several changes to music
- Ambient/Combat Music added for the Ryugu jo Dimension
- Made certain tracks replay so you're not fighting in silence.
- Outlaw Samurai/Ashigaru (vanilla illagers) will no longer alert nearby illagers regardless of wall blocks.
- Meaning the Castle Combat music will eventually end once you defeat your foes.
- Several new tracks to make certain events less redundant.
- "Bounty System"
- All Kobayakawa, Satomi, and Takeda mobs are now "neutral mobs" and will leave you be unless under certain conditions:
- Stepping within their castles/outposts
- Killing a Sohei of their clan
- Doing this will put a "bounty" on the player, and all Samurai/Ashigaru/Sohei will switch from neutral to aggressive for that player for the rest of the game.
- Mob Spawn Changes
- Adjusted spawnrules for land and aquatic mobs so they will only spawn in their respective
- Yuki-Onna and Ushi-Oni actually spawn now.
- Nerfed Goryo and Gaki spawn rates in Yomi (Nether).
- Return of the Glow Squid (Firefly Squid)
- After realizing how many of the aquatic yokai are just fish with human female heads, as well as discovering that glow squids are an actual species in Japan, I had the excuse to bring back the glow squid.
- However, I did not remove Teruto ou from the Mod. Glow squids that spawn in Ryugu jo will spawn as Teruto ou.
- You can now grow Bloodgood and Weeping Willow trees from their saplings
- Weeping willows now have actual willow reeds.
- "Micro" villages
- I think I already added this last patch but I made smaller/simple villages for both snowy and non snowy enviroments to be less overwhelming for the player and make the actual villages feel more meaningful and less repetivie.
- Akugyo changes
- Buffed her Hp by alot after slaughtering her in seconds during a playtest.
- She is now much faster and can destroy boats
- Now commonly spawns in the vast ocean surrounding the Ryujin/Ender Dragon boss island. Once you touch the water, she will detect you from any distance and relentlessly hunt you down. Traveling by boat to the End biomes and bypassing the dragon fight is now nearly impossible, and your realistic passage to get there will go back to the vanilla roots.
- Biome placements
- I think I added this last patch too, but I forced the Windswept Hills/Forest biomes as transition biomes between Winter and non Winter Biomes to make it feel more natural.
MINOR CHANGES
- Sake of Absorption recipe now requires Gobo (Potatoes) instead of a Gold Ingot.
- Sarugami now drops Animal Hide
- Warlord HP buffs
- Made Blade of the Kensei less OP.
- Bandit patrols now increase once the player reaches the diamond armor tier.
- The vignette overlay appears when invisible.
- Tweaks to the Combat AI for samurai mobs
- Tengu have proper animations now.
- Ryugu jo now has "crashing wave" sounds if you have Ambient Sounds installed.
- Texture changes to the Armor Trims
- Small Structure Changes
