Mutation Lab

Create new strain seeds by combining specific ingredients in the Mutation Lab.

  • Insert two matching ingredients to begin a mutation
  • Successful combinations produce brand new crop seeds
  • Recipes are data-driven, making new mutations easy to expand

The Mutation Lab turns progression into discovery, opening new strains through experimentation.

Compressor

Combine any two dried buds in the Compressor to create a Compressed mix item.

  • The first dried input decides the mix texture
  • Matching effects stack into a stronger effect with the shorter duration
  • Different effects are merged onto the same item
  • Final quality takes the lower quality of the two source buds
  • Mixed strains create hybrid compressed results with dynamic names

Villagers

Villagers now keep track of how much you sell to them.

  • Each villager builds Chill as you sell
  • At max Chill, that villager refuses further trades
  • Chill slowly drops over time, opening them back up later
  • Chill is saved per villager, so each buyer has their own limit

Reputation System

Build your name by selling your goods and climbing through reputation titles.

  • Selling certain products can raise or lower your reputation
  • Your current reputation determines your title
  • New journal entries can be locked behind specific reputation titles
  • Early strains are visible immediately, while later strains are revealed as your reputation grows

Current reputation titles:

  • Scammer
  • Green Bean
  • Red Meat
  • Seasoned Drop
  • Known Provider
  • Da Plug

The Canna Journal now doubles as a progression tracker, rewarding higher reputation with access to new strain information.

Discoveries Menu

Open the Discoveries menu with J to track which buds and compressed mixes you have actually discovered.

  • Locked entries stay hidden until you have crafted the item and held it in your inventory once
  • The Bud tab shows each discovered strain and its full possible effect set
  • The Compressed tab tracks hybrid combinations and the merged effects they can carry

Effects

Rollups convert crops into new potion items with unique buffs like:

  • Relaxation
  • Hunger boost
  • Speed / Slowness balance
  • Light visual effects

Control crop quality with 3 factors:

  • Heat – growth speed and potency
  • Water – yield and stability
  • Light – effect strength

Better balance results in stronger outcomes.
